From our small Island homestead, I began growing and preserving much of the food we ate throughout the year. It started as a way to be more self-sufficient, but soon, it became a passion. Naturally, that led me to cooking from scratch—because when we cook from scratch, we have complete control over the quality of our ingredients. And with the rising cost of food, it certainly helps the pocketbook too!
I wanted to create a place where I could share these delicious, wholesome recipes with you—ones made from real ingredients, inspired by the seasons, and rooted in the simple joy of homemade meals.
Beyond cooking, I also love all things handmade—knitting, weaving, crafting, and embracing a slower, more intentional way of living. Here, you’ll find a blend of homesteading wisdom, kitchen inspiration, and cozy, creative projects that celebrate the beauty of a handmade life.

I wanted this club to not only be more affordable, but something special for those who love making things by hand and receiving mail, as much as I do.
